The future will be made of plastic

 

Last September after Dragon Con, I concocted two projects, one small and simple — my rheoscopic fluid globe, or “Ectoplasmic Containment Sphere” — and the more complex AD Project that I didn’t really want to discuss publicly for awhile.  (More about that in a future post.)

In the course of working on the designs for these, I quickly realized I would want a custom base for the former and definitely need custom parts for the latter.  This reawakened my interest in 3D Printing.
