Last September after Dragon Con, I concocted two projects, one small and simple — my rheoscopic fluid globe, or “Ectoplasmic Containment Sphere” — and the more complex AD Project that I didn’t really want to discuss publicly for awhile. (More about that in a future post.)
In the course of working on the designs for these, I quickly realized I would want a custom base for the former and definitely need custom parts for the latter. This reawakened my interest in 3D Printing.
